About Us

Novato’s Birthday Party is produced annually by Novato Paint the Town Red, Inc. (PTTR). a 501c7, nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation, EIN #30-0449219. PTTR is governed by an all volunteer Board of Directors to fulfill its civic mission of planning and producing Novato’s Birthday Party and announcing and honoring the Citizen of the Year selected by the Citizen of the Year Committee. Proceeds used for the annual event and other community activities.

Mission Statement

Novato Paint the Town Red, Inc. is a community partnership with the Citizen of the Year Committee. PTTR plans and produces Novato’s Birthday Party each year, commemorating the date when Novato became a City. The event brings us together to strengthen friendships, forge new ones and appreciate the wonderful community we have. PTTR acknowledges the Safety employees of the Year, the Businesses of the Year, special awards and the Citizen of the Year.
